Title
Consider and take action on a resolution authorizing an encroachment agreement with Tirupati, Inc. for proposed private potable water and sanitary sewer force main service lines within a dedicated 8-foot utility easement (Director of Public Works)

Background:
If approved, this resolution will authorize an encroachment agreement that will allow Tirupati, Inc. to construct a privately-owned potable water service line and a privately-owned sanitary sewer force main service line within a dedicated 8-foot utility easement to provide service to Tirupati’s existing commercial business located at 3003 East League City Parkway.

When this fire line system is shut down, Tirupati’s water is also shut down. With the City’s consent, Tirupati would be able to reroute its potable water service line from its commercial building to the nearest City-owned 8-inch water main located within the Bayridge Drive right-of-way.

The City is not giving up any rights and Tirupati Inc, or its successors, is responsible for maintenance and repairs to the proposed privately owned potable water service line and 2-inch sanitary ...
