Discussion regarding the City Auditor position (Director of Human Resources and Civil Service)
Background:
In June 2013, Ordinance No. 2013-22 was adopted by Council in June 2013 created the position of Internal Auditor. Per the ordinance, the Internal Auditor reports to City Council and, on a day-to-day basis, to the City Manager.
On October 6, 2017, Michelle Tressler, resigned from her role as City Auditor, leaving the position open. To date, the position has not yet been posted pending a decision to replace the role.
