Consider and take action on a resolution casting a ballot for the election of members to the Board of Directors of the Galveston Central Appraisal District for 2018-2019 (City Secretary)
Background:
On September 26, 2017 City Council adopted Resolution No. 2017-148 nominating Clay Morrison to the Board of Directors. The City of League City is a voting unit entitled to cast 310 votes for one candidate or distributed among the candidates listed on the ballot. Term of office is January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2019.
Recommendation for allocation of votes will be made at the Council meeting.
