Consider and take action on a resolution accepting a water line and fire hydrant easement conveyance from ZRH Scholars, LLC. associated with the proposed development of Lot 2R, Second Replat of Marketplace at 96 South commercial development (Director of Engineering)

 

Background:

Approval of this resolution will approve the acceptance of a water line and fire hydrant easement conveyance from ZRH Scholars, LLC associated with the proposed development of Lot 2R, Second Replat of Marketplace at 96 South commercial development.

 

ZRH Scholars, LLC. has platted the Lot 2R out of the Marketplace at 96 South commercial property and has developed construction plans for the installation of a public water line and fire hydrant to provide necessary fire protection as required by the Fire Marshal for the commercial development of the subject property.  The property subdivide by the plat of The Marketplace at 96 South has been re-platted and water line construction plans to serve the proposed re-plat have been developed and built.  This proposed water line and fire hydrant easement conveyance covers the area for an additional fire hydrant and feed line coming from the new water line was recently installed.  The City won’t accept the water line and fire hydrant, once completed, without it being in an easement conveyed to the City.
