Discussion regarding the future growth and development in League City and fiscal impact land use analysis (Director of Planning & Development and Director of Economic Development)
Background:
Staff will discuss the future growth and development in League City, to include addressing the pattern and type of development, looking at redevelopment alternatives, attracting high quality primary job employers, and adjusting the growth patterns will all be part of the discussion.
Staff will also provide an overview of the Fiscal Impact Land Use Analysis and its importance in making land use decisions, the need for a strong relationship between Planning and Economic Development, and how land uses in the community can be better balanced to facilitate a higher revenue stream.
