Consider and take action on a resolution accepting a Water Line, Fire Hydrant and Water Meter Easement conveyance from NHF Management, LLC associated with the proposed development of Block 1, Lot 3, Butler Road Business Park (Director of Engineering)
Background:
Approval of this resolution will accept a Water Line, Fire Hydrant and Water Meter Easement conveyance from NHF Management, LLC associated with the proposed development of Block 1, Lot 3, Butler Road Business Park.
NHF Management, LLC has purchased Lot 3 of the platted Butler Road Business Park. They had plans approved and began construction on the site development of Lot 3. When working on the water main connections needed for the development, it was discovered that field adjustments would be required to properly install the domestic and fire service to the development. As a result, an additional water easement is required to address these change to the public water main and fire hydrant. This proposed water line, fire hydrant and water meter easement conveyance cover the area for a fire hydrant and feed line coming from the new fire protection water line connection and water meters as installed per approved site development plan. The City cannot provide the full Certificate of Occupancy without the recordation of the required easement.
