Consider and take action on a resolution authorizing an encroachment agreement with Westwood Development Inc. for the installation and maintenance of City-permitted irrigation and landscape improvements within the public road right-of-way, utility easements and restricted reserves within the Westwood Master Plan (Director of Engineering)
Background:
Approval of this resolution will authorize an encroachment agreement allowing Westwood Development Inc to install City permitted irrigation and landscape improvements within the Westwood Master Plan.
The City is not giving up any of its rights and Westwood Development Inc. and/or its successors, are responsible for any maintenance and repairs to the irrigation and landscape improvements. It has also been noted in the attached Encroachment Agreement that any tree planted within the dedicated roads right-of-way, utility easements, and Restricted Reserves shall have a root barrier.
