Consider and take action on a resolution approving the utility conveyance and security agreement with Galveston County Municipal Utility District No. 46 for water, sanitary sewer, and drainage facilities associated with the Mar Bella Subdivision, Section 14B (Director of Engineering)
Background:
Approval of this resolution will approve utility conveyances and security agreements with Galveston County Municipal Utility District No. 46 (the “District”) for Mar Bella Subdivision, Section 14B.
The District has constructed certain water, sanitary sewer, and drainage facilities and is formally conveying the facilities to the City pursuant to the Utility Agreement, by and between the City and the District (Ordinance No. 2003-71). Subject to a security interest retained by the District, the agreement requires that these facilities be conveyed to the City for ownership, operations and maintenance.
The municipal infrastructure for the development was accepted by the City on the following date:
1. Mar Bella Subdivision, Section 14B 8/31/18
