Presentation regarding 2019 debt issuance (Director of Finance)
Background:
This presentation will provide a summary description of the City’s first phase of debt issuance for capital improvements approved by the community in the recent bond election. This phase of debt will fund $11.8M in roadway improvements and $8.2M in drainage improvements.
This presentation will also give information regarding a potential refunding of existing debt that will provide significant cost savings to the City, given current market conditions.
The City’s Municipal Advisors from Hilltop Securities will present this information along with a recommendation regarding the type of sale.
