Consider and take action on a resolution authorizing an amendment to the agreement with Cornerstone Maintenance and Landscaping to expand the scope of services to include the Claremont Connector Trail and increase the total compensation by $55,200 bringing the total to $927,116.58 (Director of Public Works)
Background:
On November 19, 2019, the City Council authorized a three-year agreement with Cornerstone Maintenance and Landscaping for the city-wide manicured mowing services for an amount not to exceed $871,916.58 through Resolution 2019-193.
Since then, the construction of the Claremont Connector Trail (PK 1703) has been completed and is awaiting final walk-through. The Claremont Connector Trail is a 1.5 mile 8’ wide multi-use trail that connects the subdivisions of Claremont Park, Cedar Landing, and Clear Creek Meadows to the trail system on the west side.
This proposed amendment will incorporate the Claremont Connector Trail into the City-wide manicured mowing program for an amount not to exceed $55,200. The Claremont Connector Trail is a 4B funded constructed project that will be maintained with 4B funds.
CONTRACT ORIGINATION: The amendment was drafted by the City Attorney's Office.

FUNDING
