Title

Consider and take action on a resolution approving an interlocal grant agreement with Harris County for Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF) Small Cities Assistance Program (SCAP) (Emergency Management Coordinator)

Background:

Council approval of this interlocal agreement will allow the City to accept an allocation of $109,120 from Harris County's Coronavirus Relief Funds (CRF). All funds are on a reimbursed basis with the request for funds and back up documentation being sent directly to Harris County.

Funds are planned to be used as a sub-award to reimburse the League City Regional Chamber of Commerce for providing technical assistance via programs such as job fairs, free employment related webinars, and/or free employment training to local businesses and residents negatively impacted by Covid19.
