Title

Consider and take action on a resolution authorizing a one-year renewal agreement with CrowderGulf, LLC for Debris Management Services in the event of an emergency or disaster (Emergency Management Coordinator)

Background:

Approval of this proposed resolution will authorize the City Manager to execute a contract with CrowderGulf to provide Debris Management Services in the event of an emergency or disaster.

This is a contingent contract to be utilized in the event of an emergency or disaster.  In order to qualify for reimbursement from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), this contract must be procured following all federal purchasing requirements found in 2 CFR 200.

Working with the Emergency Management Department, the Purchasing Department issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for this service on October 10, 2017.  Five (5) responses were received on October 26, 2017.

Based upon the stated criteria in the RFP, which included corporate experience and capacity, qualifications, references and pricing, the evaluation team of Ryan Edghill, Bo Bass, Chanel Jones, and Jody Hooks, recommends Crowder Gulf as the primary contract.  The proposed contract is for a one-year renewal term, with an additional one-year renewal term available upon mutual agreement of both parties.
