Consider and take action on a resolution rejecting all bids received for RFP 20-FLEET-008 regarding the purchase and delivery of fuel and petroleum products (Director of Finance and Director of Public Works)
Background:
Approval of this item will authorize staff to reject all bids received in response to for Request for Proposal (RFP) #20-FLEET-008 regarding the purchase and delivery of fuel and petroleum products.
The City issued the RFP on June 23, 2020. During the procurement process, staff determined that the pricing instructions in the RFP should be clarified to better explain the grading process. Staff has already taken steps to issue a new RFP. A new agreement for bulk fuel will be presented to the Council at the conclusion of this new procurement process.
