Title
Consider and take action on a resolution authorizing a professional services agreement with Oller Engineering, INC for the design and construction phase services related to the State Highway 3 Lift Station Upgrade & Force Main Replacement Project (WW1801G) in an amount not to exceed $114,710 (Executive Director of Finance and Project Management)

Background:
Approval of this resolution will authorize funding for a professional services agreement with Oller Engineering, INC for the design and construction phase services related to the State Highway 3 Lift Station Upgrade & Force Main Replacement Project (WW1801G).

The scope of this project is to replace an existing discharge brick manhole and approximately 310 linear feet of existing 10-inch Asbestos Concrete (AC) force main along SH3, between the discharge manhole and the existing lift station site at SH3 and SH96 intersection. The new proposed 10-inch force main alignment will consist of PVC pipe material. After a visual assessment of the existing lift station and wet well, it was recommended to perform a structural rehabilitation on both structures to prolong the life of infrastructure. The design will include coating the interior of the wet well, replacing all existing piping, suction and discharge equipment, installing new submersible pumps and controls. All existing piping is currently located inside the dry well section of the lift station. All new piping will be located above ground, thus eliminating confined space entry. New stainless steel electrical panels, including a generator plug-in connection, will be included in the lift station upgrades.

Project design also includes:
· Site Topographic Survey
· Traffic Control Plan
· Electrical Design
· SWPPP Plan

Design is proposed at 135 days, with an estimated construction cost of $774,277.50. Construction is programmed in the CIP in FY22 as part of the Annual Sanitary Sewer Rehab and is budgeted at $1,000,000.
