Background:
If approved, this resolution authorizes the sale of land to TxDOT in the amount of $12,395 for the widening of FM646 to four (4) lanes.
TxDOT is looking to acquire a portion of GCAD Parcel #164081 for the widening of FM646 to four (4) lanes. The parcel is owned by the City of League City and is used for detention. The parcel is approximately 1.492 acres in size and TxDOT is proposing to acquire 0.0871 acres (3,794 SF) for the Right of Way widening. TxDOT has submitted an offer to the City of $12,395, which breaks down to $5.25/SF, plus $2,436 to replace the fencing.
The staff recommend the City accept this offer.
