Consider and take action on a resolution authorizing a professional services agreement with Ardurra for engineering services related to the Reuse Master Plan Update (WW2202), in an amount not to exceed $128,070 (Executive Director of Capital Projects)
Background:
Approval of this resolution will authorize the award of a professional services agreement to Ardurra for the professional engineering services related to the Reuse Master Plan Update (WW2202) which will examine opportunities to reduce potable water demand by augmenting with treated and regulated reclaimed water.
The previous reuse analysis was performed in 2014. Since its completion, improvements to the reuse infrastructure and growth of potential reuse customers have occurred. The objective is to evaluate economical and environmentally friendly ways to reduce potable water consumption while reducing the long-term cost to the City.
Analysis will be executed in phases to include:
1. Data collection
2. Identify potential users and cost to serve
3. Development of implement plan
4. Final Report and exhibit
The study shall be complete in 220 days unless impacted by data and information gathering, with a cost of $128,070. The study was programmed in the CIP in FY2022 at $125,000.

FUNDING
