Consider and take action on an Ordinance amending Chapter 70, entitled "Offenses and Miscellaneous Provisions" to repeal Section 70-2, entitled “Route for Transporting Fireworks” of the Code of Ordinances of the City of League City (Fire Chief)
Staff requests approval on first and final reading.
Background:
Approval of this item will amend Chapter 70, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of League City entitled, “Offenses and Miscellaneous Provisions”. Specifically, approval of this will repeal section 70-2, entitled “Route for transporting fireworks.”
This agenda item is a companion item to the ordinance amending Chapter 46, entitled "Fire Protection and Prevention. The existing regulations in Section 70-2 will be moved to the section in Chapter 46 related to fireworks so that all firework provisions will be in the same location.
