Consider and take action on a resolution supporting construction of Grand Parkway Segment B (Mayor Hallisey)
Background:
On July 9, 2019, City Council adopted a resolution requesting that the Texas Transportation Commission take any and all actions necessary to complete the traffic revenue study, land acquisition, design and ultimately construction activities for "Segment B" of State Highway 99 (Grand Parkway) located in League City, Texas and surrounding areas. Alvin Mayor Paul Horn is seeking regional support for Section B construction to present to the Texas Transportation Commission in July.
