Consider and take action on a resolution authorizing an agreement with CrowderGulf, LLC for primary Debris Management Services in the event of an emergency or disaster and three secondary contracts (Emergency Management Coordinator)
Background:
Approval of this proposed resolution will authorize the City Manager to execute a primary contract with Crowder Gulf to provide Debris Management Services in the event of an emergency or disaster and secondary contracts with Ceres, DRC, and TFR.
This is a contingent contract to be utilized in the event of an emergency or disaster. In order to qualify for reimbursement from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), this contract must be procured following all federal purchasing requirements found in 2 CFR 200.
Based upon the stated criteria in the RFP, which included corporate experience and capacity, qualifications, references and pricing, the evaluation team of Ryan Edghill, Bo Bass, Kristin Gauthier, David Tickell, and Jody Hooks, recommends Crowder Gulf as the primary contract. The proposed contract is for three years with two one-year renewal options.
