Consider and take action on a resolution authorizing the annual internal audit plan for the City of League City for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2024 (City Auditor)
Background:
Approval of this item will authorize the annual internal audit plan for fiscal year 2024. Ordinance No 2013-22 requires City Council to approve by resolution an audit program or audit plan. The City Auditor has developed a draft plan based on auditor observations and judgement, interviews with management, input from Council and Finance Committee members, consideration of past audit plan outstanding audits, follow-up audits, and changes in people, processes, and systems.
