Consider and take action on a resolution rejecting all bids for Invitation to Bid (ITB) 24-016 Water & Sewer Line Repair Materials (Director of Public Works)
Background:
Approval of this resolution will reject two bids received for ITB 24-016 Water & Sewer Line Repair Materials and authorize the purchasing department to advertise and proceed with a new bidding process.
On March 14, 2024 two bids were received for ITB 24-016. After a thorough review by the bid selection committee, both bids were determined to not fulfill the intent of the bid specifications. Staff recommends rebidding to ensure the proper level of service and competitive atmosphere is provided.
