Consider and take action on a resolution authorizing an amendment to the agreement with NeoGlobal Enterprises, LLC (Horticare Landscape Management) to increase the total compensation to an amount not to exceed $120,960 (Director of Parks and Cultural Services)
Background:
Approval of this agreement would allow for an amendment of the contract to reflect the addition of Lobit Park, 27.54 acres. The mowing contract was initially approved by City Council on March 8, 2022. The current annual contract is for $264,940/year for three (3) years with a total of $794,820.
Lobit Park was added to the City of League City Park system on October 1, 2022. The amendment will include October 1, 2022, through the expiration of the contract on March 31, 2025. The operating budget for Parks Operations has incorporated the funding for Fiscal Year 2024.
$1440 per visit at 36 visits a year:
Oct. 1, 2022 - Sep 30, 2023 $51,840
Oct. 1, 2023 - Sep 30, 2024 $51,840
Oct. 1, 2024 - Mar 31, 2025 $17,280
