Consider and take action on a resolution designating representatives and alternates to the Houston-Galveston Area Council General Assembly and Board of Directors for the year 2024 (Mayor Long)
Background:
H-GAC's Bylaws authorize each member city with a population of at least 100,000 according to the last preceding Federal Census (2020) to select two members of its governing body as representatives and two members as alternates to the H-GAC General Assembly. H-GAC's Bylaws also stipulate that the chosen representatives for the General Assembly shall serve on the Board of Directors, one as the delegate and one as the alternate.

Council Member Andy Mann - Representative, General Assembly, and Alternate, Board of Directors
Mayor Pro Tem Justin Hicks - Alternate, General Assembly
Council Member Tom Crews - Alternate, General Assembly
Terms of office begin January 1, 2024.
