Consider and take action on a resolution rejecting all proposals received for ITB #24-044 Wastewater and Water Laboratory Services and extending the existing contract with Envirodyne Laboratories for one month to November 1, 2024 for these services (Director of Finance)
Background:
Approval of this item will reject the bids received on August 22, 2024 for ITB#24-044. An error was made in the Cost Sheet included with the ITB which resulted in an incomplete bid on all services needed. Staff would like to re-bid the services including the additional services required by water/wastewater for laboratory services. Approval will also extend the existing contract with Envirodyne Laboratories for one month to November 1, 2024, to allow for time to re-bid the services. There are enough remaining funds on the existing contract to cover the additional month of service.
