Consider and take action on a resolution approving the dates for conducting regular meetings during the month of March 2025 due to the Clear Creek Independent School District Spring Break schedule (City Secretary)
Background:
Approval of this item will order the regular meeting dates for March 2025. Chapter 2, Article II, Section 2-31(a) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of League City establishes regular meetings of the City Council to be held on the second and fourth Tuesday of the months of January through October beginning at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. However, City Council may change, by resolution, the regular meeting dates and times in the month in which the Clear Creek Independent School District (CCISD) Spring Break occurs.
CCISD Spring Break is scheduled March 17 through March 21. Dickinson ISD has Spring Break during the same dates.
Staff recommends maintaining the regular meeting dates of March 11 and March 25.
