Consider and take action on a resolution authorizing a three-year beverage contract (RFP 25-003 Beverage Supply Services for The Ballpark at League City (Executive Director of Facilities, Information Technology and The Ballpark at League City)
Background:
Approval of this item will provide beverage service and supplies for the restaurants. Per year, the Ballpark will encumber funds in the amount of $44,200 covering the price of beverage items needed for a total of $132,600 over three years.
On October 29, 2024, Request for Proposal 25-003 Beverage Supply Services for The Ballpark at League City was released to the public. The objective of the solicitation was to find qualified proposers to provide the best quality beverages at a price that is most advantageous to and best meets the needs of the City while taking into consideration the evaluation factors set forth in the RFP. The proposals were received and opened November 21, 2024 at 10:05AM CST.
Three vendors were given notice of the RFP: Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, and Del Papa Distributing Co in partnership with Boots Beverage. Only one (1) vendor, Boots Beverage, submitted a proposal. After comparing the pricing submitted by the Proposer to the pricing of our current contract with PepsiCo, it was determined that the Proposer’s pricing is lower. The Purchasing Department recommends awarding the contract to Boots Beverage as the most qualified responsive proposer.

FUNDING
{X} Funds in the amount of $36,700 for 9 months (Jan-Sept 2025) are available from The Ballpark Restaurant Wholesale Food & Beverage Account #23254640-51601 for Fiscal Year 2025. The remaining funds will be budgeted in the following years.
