Background:

Approval of this item will authorize the agreement with Hahn Equipment Co., Inc. for the repair of a 185HP FLYGT electric submersible sewage pump located at the Dallas Salmon Wastewater Treatment Plant (DSWWTP) in an amount not to exceed $89,549.80.

 

The purpose of this pre-planned pump re-build is to provide a shelf-ready replacement, in the event of an unforeseen pump failure(s), reducing the potential occurrence of sanitary sewer overflows during critical weather events. The re-build was approved in the FY2025 budget process in the amount of $85,000 in the Utility System & Repair account line-item number# 10207500-52620.
