Background:

Unit 136 a 2018 Ford Interceptor Explorer with 85,881 miles was involved in an accident on October 24, 2025.  After a comprehensive inspection by the City’s insurance carrier, TML, this vehicle was deemed a total loss and payment will be disbursed to the City in an amount of $8,687.

To ensure the best pricing and benefit to the city, quotes for the vehicle were obtained from cooperative purchasing contracts, state contracts, and local retail with the following results:

BuyBoard - $49,292 (including $400 fee)

GoodBuy - $48,792 (including $200 fee)
