November 14, 2025 - A public hearing sign was posted on the property, and notice was published in the newspaper.
December 1, 2025 - Planning & Zoning Commission held a public hearing and recommended approval of the request.
December 16, 2025 - City Council is scheduled to conduct a public hearing and consider the request on first reading.
January 13, 2026 - If approved on first reading, City Council will consider the second reading of the request.
Project Summary:
A Special Use Permit (SUP) is required for self-storage uses in the “CG” district. The applicant is requesting an SUP for a 1.04-acre site to pave 24,860 square feet for outdoor storage and staging of U Haul trucks, expanding the existing facility to the north.
