Title
Consider and take action on a resolution authorizing an amendment to an existing Multiple Use Agreement with TxDOT to allow renovations to the Farm-to-Market 270 Boat Ramp at Clear Creek (Executive Director of Capital Projects)

Background:
Approval of this resolution will authorize an amendment to the existing Multiple Use Agreement (MUA) with TxDOT for an amendment to allow renovations to the FM 270 Boat Ramp at Clear Creek.

The amendment is required to update the existing MUA, which is over 30 years old, and to provide for the replacement and maintenance of the new boat ramp at the FM 270 Boat Ramp at Clear Creek location. TxDOT has requested that the city execute an amendment. The attached amendment (Form 2722) describes the planned work on the boat ramp facility.

The renovation of the FM 270 Boat Ramp at Clear (PK 1804) includes upgrading launching lanes, bulkheads, sidewalks, and possibly the parking lot. Construction documents are complete and are currently under review by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and the United States Fish and Wildlife Service. Approval from both agencies is necessary before authorizing the construction, which is partially funded through a USFWS grant of approximately $500,000. TPWD is the state agency responsible for managing USFWS grant funds in Texas.
