Consider and take action on an ordinance amending the City of League City, Texas, Governmental, Proprietary, and Capital Funds Budget for Fiscal Year 2023 by amending Ordinance No. 2022-32, Ordinance No. 2032-009, and Ordinance No. 2023-___ to adjust the operating and capital budget for actual and projected expenditures (Assistant City Manager - CFO)
Background:
The proposed ordinance requests a net increase of zero to the general fund. If approved, the proposed ordinance would amend the City’s FY2023 budget to incorporate proposed adjustments for:
General Fund
• Increase of $27,011 to fund changes to EMS pay grade chart as part of May 9, 2023 City Council action.
• Funding will come from a decrease of $27,011 to Fire department from funding allocated for the additional fire stipend crew in the FY2023 adopted budget. Based on current trends, the stipend budget will not be fully utilized by year-end.
• The proposed ordinance requests a net increase of zero to the general fund.
